| What's Happening: Treadlightly Stall and Vegan Bake Sale - Sunday 21 April We are having a stall at the Treadlightly EnviroFest at the Royal Hobart Botanical Gardens - Sunday 21 April. Last year we held a very successful bake sale as a part of our stall at this event, and intend to again. The bake sale is a part of the World Wide Vegan Bake Sale. The bake sale is a great way of raising awareness about veganism, and how easy it is to bake delicious vegan food. It is also a fundraising opportunity for our organisation. We are looking for volunteers to bake items for the sale - cakes, slices, muffins, biscuits etc., and some gluten-free options would be great too. If you can help out, please email info@tasveg.org or phone 0429 015 110 and let us know what you would like to make. The Treadlightly event runs from 10am-4pm. Entry is $5, $4 concession, with bike riders and under 16s admitted free. Arrangments can be made to rendevous to collect baked goods if you don't want to come to the event. Northern Group - Lunch at Fresh on Charles, Launceston, Friday 19 April This is the 3rd lunch organised by the new Veg Tas Northern Group, which now numbers 7 and growing. RSVP to Kim on 0429 065 616 so that a table can be booked. All welcome! Some weekend events are being considered, please contact Kim if you would like to have any input. Coming up Stay tuned....
